Puppy Training...

A puppy is like a blank canvas, anything you put into them now will stick with them for the rest of their lives. This also applies to the work you don't put into them and the wrong things that they learn.

The crucial age for a pup to take things on board is between 6 and 20 weeks. This is when they need to see everything they will be required to accept as an adult canine and not just once, many times before they reach the juvenile hormonal state at about 8 months.

Puppy Group: This class is the Amy Hatcher version of the usual village hall style of training. There's no hall and no slippery floor! Every session is unique, the puppies are allowed off the lead to meet and interact with each other, they meet horses and chickens, bikes, runners, cows etc All the basic behaviours are also taught such as sit, down, stay and walking nicely on the lead but all have the additon of natural distractions. The classes are outside in a private and safe environment.

Private Puppy Training: These lessons are also totally unique, every puppy and owner is treated individually. Anything and everything can be trained and corrected during these hourly sessions. All are at your home, in and around your local area or at the training centre.
